2016 Is A Great Year For Books To Movies

Some of my favorite reads, as both a child and as an adult, are being adapted to the big screen for release in 2016. I can’t tell you how excited I am, not just to see some of my most memorable reads in movies, but also to take my children to see some of the greatest kids stories ever at the movies!

Of course, the movie I’m most excited about is the film adaptation of Jojo Moyes’s Me Before You. If you haven’t read this book yet, you absolutely have to, I have yet to hear of a single person who was not moved, touched and inspired by this incredibly beautiful and utterly devastating story.

Another one of my favorite authors, Colleen Hoover, is also  having one of her books adapted for the movies, Ugly Love, and it’s looking like this movie will also be releasing in 2016.

The Girl On The Train by Paula Hawkins is also coming to cinemas! I loved this book, so much suspense, a thrilling read and I reckon is going to make an amazing movie!

There are also some amazing movie adaptations being done of kids books. The one I’m most excited about it The Legend Of Tarzan…. here’s why….

Other kids books coming to the movies include The Jungle Book, Through The Looking Glass, which stars Jonny Depp and looks frikkin amazing, The BFG by Roald Dahl.

So many many movies to look forward to this year. Which one are you most excited to see?
