When I say the words, FIsher-Price, what comes to mind? For me, it’s this:
I think everyone of us can recall a time in our lives when the Fisher-Price telephone was either a prized toy of our own, or one we played with while watching our siblings and cousins grow up. It was one of the first toys I bought for Ava when she was initially placed with us, as she grew up, she became more confused by this telephone because technology has changed so much since I was a kid, but it seems Fisher-Price has moved along with the times too.
A few week’s ago, Hannah was sent a BeatBo to try out by the folks at Fisher-Price and it’s safe to say that she has fallen in love with him. Actually, both Ava & Hannah have fallen in love with him and there is a lot of arguing over who gets to play with him.
Ava is my singing child, she’s convinced she’s going to grow up to be a singer just like Katy Perry one day…. God help us and Hannah is the dancer in our family. So both of them have really enjoyed playing with BeatBo.
Check out Hannah getting down with BeatBo:
BeatBo has been a great learning aid for Hannah, as an extension of what she’s learning at school. She loves to dance and to sing along with BeatBo, learning and practicing her ABC’s, numbers and colours.
I’ve mentioned before that Hannah has been having extensive speech therapy over the last few months and her speech has come along in leaps and bounds. From a child that almost no one understood and who communicated in a way that caused her immense frustration, she is now speaking so much better and is really enjoying listening and recording herself on BeatBo too.
My brother would probably tell you his favorite Fisher-Price toy when he was a kid was the airport and I’m pretty sure my cousins would say it was the farm house. Which was your favorite Fisher-Price toy growing up?
