My biggest concern when Tanya and I teamed up for the #GraceFactorySocial was that we would do a terrible job and no one would show up on the day. The closer we got to the event, the more nervous I became. But I needn’t have been, I should have known I could count on Twitter Mom’s generosity, big hearts & desire to make a difference. I’ll let the pictures speak for themselves:
The photo booth which was done by Catherine Scott Photography:
The amazing staff at Jump n Play who were worked OFF their feet on Saturday:
The Cake Pops, supplied by Learn 2 Craft:
The overloaded on sugar kiddies fun:
We also had Naartjie shopping vouchers for EVERYONE that attended the event and a Naartjie Gift Voucher for one lucky winner, amongst other lucky draws that included a Tranquil Body Treats Voucher & a Little Lumps Hamper.
And of course, most importantly…. the donations, oh my word the donations. They started flooding in, 15 minutes into the function and there was already such a large pile of donations that the entrance to Jump n Play was being blocked and we had to move some of the donations into shopping trolleys and store them separately. In the end, we got one large bakkie load and 3 full car loads of donations.
The day was a massive success and I am so looking forward to doing this in a few months time again!
To Amy and her team, keep up the amazing work you’re doing at The Grace Factory!
