Review & {Win} with The Munch Box

Sponsored by The Munch Box

The timing of this review could not have been better. A few week’s ago, I was contacted by The Munch Box team to do a review on their subscription box and I’ve been holding onto this box for a couple of week’s now. You’ll remember I spoke about how we’re using a reward/star chart for Ava to promote good behavior and she’s been dying to try out The Munch Box since it arrived. Finally this past weekend, she’d accumulated enough stars to earn a reward and her chosen reward was to cook with me using The Munch Box.

The Munch Box is a monthly subscription box that encourages parents to get into the kitchen and get creating and cooking with their kids. The subscription costs R369 per month and includes:

  • 3 quality kitchen utensils
  • a handy shopping list
  • 3 easy to follow recipes with a step by step picture guide for kids
  • 3 additional education and fun activities like find the words hidden in the page of letter
  • FREE ! A fabulous recipe box to put all your recipe and information cards   (sent out on your 4th month of membership )
  • Free delivery included ( outlying areas there may be a small surcharge )

For a little extra, you can buy a sibling box and there are other gift options and monthly options available too.

We had three different recipes to choose from and Ava decided she’s like to make the chicken.

I absolutely loved the concept. You’ll know if you’ve been reading my blog for any period of time, I’m just really not a very creative or very crafty type mom and I battle with coming up with fun ideas to keep my kids entertained so these subscription boxes are fabulous for me and busy mom’s like me.

Ava really loved the experience. She was proud of her efforts and even enjoyed eating her chicken. I found the recipes easy to follow, especially for kids, the utensils were of a high quality and overall, it was a very positive experience in the end, for both my girls and for me. And that’s ironic given that I went into it thinking “Kill me, kill me now!” at the thought of spending an hour or so in the kitchen with two messy little girls. But it really was a great experience.

The good news is that you can win a The Munch Box to try out too. Simply follow the Rafflecopter prompts below to enter.
