If your kids are anything like mine, then you’ll know that the best way to avoid fighting, whining and crying at bath time is to make it as fun as possible. Even Ava at age 6 still likes to bath with a bath full of toys. So you can imagine how excited they both were when the new Acornkids Kidsbox was delivered for us to try because the Kidsbox is the most fun in a box my kids could imagine at bath time.
This Kidsbox is a monthly subscription, which is delivered direct to your door each month, via courier and containing a selection of between 4 and 6 of Acornkids top selling products.
The box that we received included Funky Faces which was a HUGE hit with my girls! These foam face stickers are a lot of fun and my girls had a good giggle coming up with all kinds of funky faces. This product alone usually sells for R99 on Acornkids.
The Purple Soap Putty was also a firm favorite, it’s pretty much soap free soap that has the consistency of playdough and usually sells for R41 individually. There was also Yellow Squish ‘n Squeeze Jelly Bubbles, which is a fabulous tactile activity for kids, letting them squish and squeeze the jelly till it had dissolved and watching as it created long last bubbles in the bath. We also got a pack of the ever popular Sea & Sand Bathpops. You’re really think Ava would be over these by now, but she still LOVES the surprise of a bathpop.
To celebrate the new year and the new Kidsbox, there was also a free gift included in the box, a Buzz off Cream – which is a lifesaver currently as we’re all being chowed by the mozzies, but most especially poor Hannah. The Buzz Off Cream A natural and very effective insect repellent which contains active ingredients include Lavender, Geranium, Eucalyptus, Lemon, Peppermint and Citronella Oil, as well as extract of Cinnamon. It smells amazing and usually retails for R59.
In all, I estimated that this box was worth about R240 just with products and not including courier fees but Acornkids are selling the subscriptions for R199 per month so not only do we get the benefits of all the savings but our kids get a great surprise each month too.
