{Win} with #BarniBear journey of discovery

The long December holidays loom ahead of us and Mom’s & Dad’s everywhere are in a panic, scrambling for fun, learning activities to keep their kids busy these holidays! Whether it be trips to the zoo, the movies, a picnic at the botanical gardens or even a visit to a water park, we’re all wracking our brains with ideas to keep the kids stimulated and entertained and not whining constantly about being bored.

Well Barni has got you covered……

If you go down to The Zone at Rosebank in December, you are in for a big surprise… because Barni’s Learning Adventure activation is set to arrive!

Barni with Butterfly

Barni the Bear’s Great Big Learning Adventure will be held at The Zone in Rosebank from Saturday 12th until Friday 18th December 2015 and will be open daily from 10am – 4pm. Entrance is free, all you need to do is arrive with your family and enjoy the journey of fun and adventure.

Let your children, aged 3 – 7, step into a world of learning through fantasy and play, the “pop up book”themed play area includes fun activities including art, music and play with child minders to-boot. There will also be a Barni show every hour, on the hour for the duration of the adventure. And of course, don’t forget, delicious Barni Bear shaped sponge cake, filled with a yummy chocolate center for the kids to enjoy. The spongy bear cake is a mouth-watering treat that invites kids’ imaginations to explore, while it feeds their body with the familiar ingredients moms use in their kitchens – flour, eggs, milk and chocolate. Barni contains no colourants, preservatives or trans fats, making it the perfect treat for little explorers.

I am absolutely horrible at crafts and the sorts but want to try my luck and see what we can achieve by making little decorations, snow globes, santa letters, etc. Also, we tend to spend our Decembers at my inlaws who have a sea view and where we can whale/dolphin watch from their pool – lucky buggers, aren’t they? We love braais, walks on the beach and catching up with friends.
