Fun Activities At School

One Of the reason’s I’m so pleased we put Ava in school when we did is all the fun activities that she gets to participate in and the experiences she has which she would not have had if she’d still been at home.

Yesterday that had an Animal and Reptile show at school and to say that Ava was in her element is an understatement. From the time I arrived home yesterday she was bubbling with excitement and couldn’t stop talking about all the animals she had seen and touched and what she’d learned about them!

I just love the look of absolute wonder on her face in every one of these images. I’m so proud to be her mommy!

She is utterly in awe! And so gentle too.

Not sure of that ‘roach though Shaz… They have them at Butterfly World (think they are called hissing roaches) and when I see them I gag and start to cry just a little bit. What a brave little girl! Just goes to show how utterly fearless they are!

I agree with you. I’ve seen it with my youngest, when we took her out of creche, it have effected her deeply and she do misses the activities and interaction of others. We are sad that we are doing this too her but at this moment, we need to think about her brother who is benefiting from this situation with his condition. We do know that when she goes to Gr R next year, that she will get the stimulation again, which she missed so much now.
