Let’s Dance With Just Dance 4!

On Wednesday evening, I, along with other girl bloggers and media, attended the launch of Just Dance 4 hosted by Girl Guides, in conjunction with Megarom Interactive and Ubisoft. Most of you know already, I work in the gaming industry but I am not a gamer, aside from beating the crap out of Walter during a game of Tekken, which usually ends and an argument of some sort, or strumming a few chords on Guitar Hero, most games simply just don’t appeal to me.

Enter XBOX Kinnect and games like Just Dance 4 and I’m pretty sure that’s all about to change! Within minutes of the presentation ending, shoes were tossed aside, pink stripes sprayed into hair and we were all dancing like we were contestants on So You Think You Can Dance.

The event was really great fun and the game is fantastic! It has a Sweat mode which is ideal for a good work out but is also fantastic for a fun evening at home with friends, I reckon the Battle mode where you can have a dance off against your friends would be great fun and a very good laugh after a couple of glasses of wine.

And you can get in on the action too as I have a Just Dance 4 hamper, complete with everything you’d need to look the part, to give away!

All you need to do is check out the hot tracks list, let me know which track you’d most like to get down and boogie to!

Just because I’m off on a girls night out tonight to watch “Dirty Dancing” at Montecasino, my choice for today would be “(I’ve had) The time of my life”.

Oh it would SO be ‘Call me Maybe’ – my sister and I actually scared a poor car guard the other day as we drove past dancing in our seats to that song!

I don’t “do” games either – Travers is a total addict and can finish a game in a day, given HALF the chance. I did, however, enjoy the Wii when it came out, but that novelty soon wore off.
Having said that – I think that this would really appeal to me – we could get our little beanbag involved too (who has shown an interest in dancing, as of late – but ONLY with a skirt on!)
