My Bad – ICLW

I’ve been a VERY BAD ICLW’er! I know it must sound lame, but having a 11 day old baby has kept me so busy that I’m not get through my usual blog reading list and don’t really have time to post updates on my blog, not to mention properly participating in ICLW. Forgive me???

Ok, so for those of you who’re visiting for the first time, here’s a quick run down:

7.5 years trying.

3 IUI’s – all BFN

4 Fresh IVF’s – all BFN

1 FET – miscarriage

2 laps – partial septum, hydrosalpinges, fibroid, scarring, polyp removed

7 pregnancies = 7 first trimester miscarriages

23rd November – started the adoption process

13th December – God moved a mountain, revealed His power in all its glory and our beautiful adopted daughter, Ava Grace was born. I’m still in awe and stunned by how fast it all happened. Most couples wait months, if not years, we waited 3 weeks from assessment to birth of our miracle baby.

Wishing you all a blessed Christmas from us and our miracle Christmas baby!

Ava Christmas.

She is stunning and you are blessed.

Many of us have waited 5+ years or more to adopt.

It was totally meant to be.

We got tired of the agonizing wait, disrupted adoptions, and, worst of all, a lost post birth of a son.

We pursued surrogacy and after 3 years our twin sons are in our arms.

The journey is tough, and BRUTAL.

I wish your family only love and the best in the New year.
