My Favorite Long Hair Tutorials

I’ve been watching a number of hair tutorials recently, trying to learn to do different things with my longer hair. As a busy working mom, I have very little time in the mornings to fiddle with my hair. It’s long, it’s thick and it takes forever to dry and style, so I’m loving the longer hair because I can still get a neat and attractive look without spending 40 minutes under the hairdryer and using my GHD. I also don’t want to be walking around with a ratty ponytail or one of those pinch clip thingies in my hair. I want something a little more sophisticated.

I’m a big fan of a bun, but hate fiddling with it to get it just right and I don’t like the ballet dancer look that my bun maker gives me. I want something a little messier and maybe a little more sophisticated. So one of the first hair tutorials I’ve found really helpful was this one:

I’ve done all of these buns, they’re quick and easy and not fiddly at all.

Learning the art of the “messy bun” thanks to You Tube! What do u think? No bun maker in there!

And then I came across this amazing video….

And from that tutorial, I managed to do this in like 30 seconds yesterday morning:

So there you have it…. easy peezy lemon squeezy….

Which are some of your favorite styles and tutorials. I’m looking for more easy and fun hair ideas.
