I’m so glad that your brother managed to sort his life out and be at peace with his past.

Not being a religious person (I believer in a higher good but not God as such) I can’t really comment on the rest of your post cept to say that, as long as you’re happy with the path you’ve chosen, then I’m happy for you my friend.

Such a beautiful post hon! It all shows me that God truly does know what he’s doing! I can’t wait to celebrate with you on Sunday! And I am so grateful that your brother has turned to God, like you said it’s a miracle in itself! Two wonderful miracles!

What wonderful miracles. Everyone always says that His timing is perfect and it is, I just wish it was easier to see before the fact and not only afterwards 😉

He is worthy of most high praise for the two miracles He has expanded into your life.

    Looking forward to Sunday!

Wow…we do indeed serve a miracle working God. His timing is always perfect. And I so agree with Sam’s comment. I often wish that this was easier to see before the fact and not afterwards.
We have a very similar situation in my husbands family where my drug-addicted nephew also gave his life to God in a prison cell. He told us last week that all he does is just take it one day at a time. Sharon, I am so happy for you and your family. You are all so very blessed. I cried buckets over your Mothers Day post. Honestly, did you think last year this time that you would be celebrating your first Mothers Day in 2010? Sjoe…God is awesome and so worthy of Praise.

ps…I am currently reading a book called The Shack by WM Paul Young. It has moved me to the core. Please try to read it if you can. It will forever change the way you view God.

Very special Sharon. I’m so happy that your brother has decided to change his life. My SIL has always been the “black sheep of the family” and is still causing a lot of hurt and stress for my in-laws and the entire family. We live in hope that she can also change her life for the better some day, especially as she was blessed with a beautiful son of her own who is now 12 years old!

All the best for Sunday. It will be a very special day. Will be thinking of you and your family.

Stunning post Shaz. I know what it’s like to sit and cry in church every.sunday! I turned away from the church for a long time after my dads death, and then after I met Pete and had Ryan, I started going to church again. (In england) The song they played in the church in England was the one played at my Dads funeral, and my dads favourite song. Got me everytime, every week. In fact – I’m crying now just thinking of it!
